Member’s Choice Award online nomination form.
This award is an opportunity to recognise and celebrate the outstanding achievements, and incredible stories of personal growth, and the positive impact of our members within the Proaction community. We invite all Proaction members to nominate themselves, friends, or children for this award.
Nominate Friends at Proaction: We’re inviting members to nominate their Proaction friends for this award. Sharing stories of when their friends at Proaction have gone above and beyond to support them, have shown outstanding maturity, helped them through difficult times, kept them focused on their goals or other heart-warming stories that show the amazing impact of Proaction members.
Nominate yourself: Have you felt that Proaction has had a positive impact on your personal growth and development? We want you to describe the ways in which Proaction has helped your personal growth, development, and maturation throughout time with Proaction.
Highlight specific ways in which Proaction, its members or instructors have provided things like guidance, mentorship, resources, or opportunities that have positively impacted you.
Nominating your child: Have you seen an improvement in your child’s personal growth and development since joining Proaction? This could include improvements in self-confidence, emotional resilience, and overall character development. Have there been certain events, instructors or opportunities that have given your child the opportunity to shine? Have there been any lasting memories when the skills your child has learnt have help to boost their confidence or allow them to take on challenges that they would have shied away from before?
Highlight specific ways in which Proaction, its members or instructors have provided things like guidance, mentorship, resources, or opportunities that have positively impacted you.
Nomination Process:
All member’s are invited to submit a written nomination about themsevles, their child/children, friends in the club, parents, volunteers or staff who have done things that deserve to be recognised with this awards.
In the award entry include specific anecdotes, examples, and personal testimonials to illustrate the reason for nomination.
Nominations for the 2023 awards will open Tuesday 21st November. Deadline for nominations will close on Thursday 21st December at midnight.
Selection Process:
A panel of judges (Mr Nicholson, Mrs Nicholson and Rachel Ransby, Proaction Communications Manager) will select eight-10 deserving entries whose story of progress, growth, and positive impact is most compelling and aligned with the spirit of Proaction’s mission. The Proaction members’ community will then be invited to vote on the story that they think deserves the award the most. The nominee with the most votes by the closing date will be the winner.
We will notify you by 10th January if your nomination has been successfully shortlisted.
What rules do I need to follow?
Here are the general rules you need to be aware of when making a nomination:
- You can nominate any individuals who trains with the Proaction – yourself, your child/children, other members, friends in the clubs, parents, volunteers and staff.
- The actions of the person being nominated must have largely taken place this year (2023).
- Nominations must be done via the online forms Member’s Choice Award.
- Please stick to the word count (maximum 400 words). Unfortunately we cannot accept any images, videos or audio.
- Submit your nomination to just one category – putting the same nomination into multiple categories will not improve your nominees’ chances of winning a prize. For example, if you wish to nominate an instructor for Member’s Choice Award you cannot then enter the submission into the Instructor of the Year category.
- Each nomination will be assessed by an awards panel comprising of Mr Nicholson, Mrs Nicholson and Rachel Ransby, Proaction Communications Manager. The panel will consider all the nominations before drawing up a list of finalists for each award.
- We will notify you by 10th January if your nomination has been successfully shortlisted.
- When the judging panel has concluded the top eight-10 entries will be put out to the Proaction community to vote via social media on who they feel is the most deserving nomination – if your nomination is successful you are allowed to campaign family and friends to vote.
- Nominations for the 2023 awards will open Tuesday 21st
- Deadline for nominations will close on Thursday 21st December at midnight. Extension to this deadline may be grated in extenuating circumstance and will only be considered if you contact the office directly on 07717 116115 or email.
- Public voting will be open for two weeks from 12th-26th January via the Proaction Facebook and Instagram pages.
