How much is it to join Proaction?

We have 3 membership options: Monthly, Annual and Black Belt Programme. Contact us for more information 07717 116 115 or enquiries@martialartslessons.co.uk

Monthly Membership

Our monthly direct debit option allows you the flexibility to amend, pause or cancel your membership with 30 days notice from the last payment date. The Monthly payments are collected on the 1st of every month. There is an additional charge of £35 to cover licence, insurance and membership for the year.

Annual Membership

This is a one off payment for 12 months tuition, licence and insurance. The cost is calculated across a 12-month period and then heavily discounted, your licence and insurance is also in additon at £35 for 12 months. Payments for graduations are in also addition. This option is limited to just 5 Members per month.

Memberhsip Discounts

We have several options available including our generous family discount for up to four members of the same family signing up to train with us.

do you offer a pay as you go memberhsip?

Our most flexible membership option is our monthly option, this can be cancelled with 30 days notice from the last payment date.

What is included in the membership fee?

Licence, Insurance, Membership fee for 12 months, FREE Uniform, Month of joining tuition fees

To practice any Martial Arts you must have a licence issued by the Governing Body, which gives you insurance cover and is also your record of gradings passed and courses attended.

Can I set the date the direct debit is due?

All Direct Debits are collected on 1st of the month and there are no variations to this.

What is the Black Belt Programme

This is a pay in full membership option and is the best value for those who want to train multiple times a week and are dedicated to achieving their Black Belt. Please contact us on 07717 116115 or email us enquiries@martialartslessons.co.uk

Can I pay cash?

No all payments are made via Direct Debit unless paying for annual membership/Black Belt Programme

What is the youngest age I can enrol my child?

Children can start classes with us from the age of 4

Is there an age limit on who can join?

Our classes are suitable from the ages of 4 and up, we have no other restrictions on age

What if I have an existing Health Condition?

When you register – you will be asked to complete a medical declaration form so you can advise us of anything the instructors need to be aware of. Should you be carrying an injury – just message your instructor or tell them at the start of the session so they are aware of your ability.

Do I have to be a certain level of fitness to join?

No we can cater for all levels of fitness and work with you on improving you fitness throughout your time with us.

How long does it take to become a Black belt?

This can vary between students but as a rough guide it should take around 3.5 years at a minimum and it is quite common for it to take longer.

How often should I be training?

Our Mighty Monkeys (4-6 year olds) will train once per week

For Taekwon-Do and Kickboxing it is recommended that you train twice per week

How long are classes?

Mighty Monkeys 35 Minutes

Foundation Taekwon-Do 45 Minutes

Intermediate Taekwon-Do 50 Minutes

Advanced Taekwon-Do 55 Minutes

Kickoxing 55 Minutes

is there a uniform needed for classes?

Yes uniform and belt must be worn for all classes. Uniforms can be purchased via our shop at ReactionSport.com. You are given a free uniform upon joining.

During the summer months our summer uniform can be worn but this must be purchased via our shop.

Are you open during shcoool holidays?

We are open all year round, apart from 2 weeks at Christmas and Bank Holidays.

Is there any physical contact in classes?

Once our students get to a certain age/grade sparring is introduced into the class, we used a well-structured approach to take our students from non-martial-artist, to proficient practitioner, to controlled sparring participant.

Will my child get hurt?

Safety is our top priority. All contact is light and controlled. Instructors will be supervising all children and providing guidance and support to ensure they keep everyone safe.

Is there any additional equipment I will need?

Once you reach a certain grade sparring will be introduced and a full sparring kit will need to be purchased. This can only be purchased through us, no second hand or other equipment is allowed this enables us to maintain the safety of everyone at all times.

How do i buy a sparring kit?

Please note only sparring kits and equipment purchased through ReactionSport will be allowed in class.
