To mark Black History month, Jas Nicholson, Director of Proaction, shares her thoughts and the club’s commitment to diversity and inclusivity.
As the owner of Proaction Martial, I am deeply committed to fostering diversity, inclusivity, and equity within our martial arts community. ProAction is not just a business to me; it’s a family business. Our own family is a beautiful tapestry of backgrounds and experiences, reflecting the rich diversity that enriches our lives.
During this Black History Month, we take pride in celebrating our diverse community of students and staff. We firmly believe that our differences make us stronger and more resilient as a martial arts family. We honor the legacies of black pioneers who have paved the way for us, and we continue to champion their spirit by breaking down barriers and forging new paths.
At Proaction Martial Arts, we are resolute in our commitment to ensuring that race never becomes a barrier to success. We provide a supportive and inclusive environment where everyone can thrive, regardless of their background. We believe in the power of martial arts to unite us, inspire us, and help us become the best versions of ourselves.
This Black History Month and every month, we stand together as a diverse and inclusive martial arts community, embracing the values of respect, equity, and unity. Together, we write a new chapter in our history, one that celebrates the richness of our diversity and the limitless potential of every individual who walks through our doors.
Thank you for being a part of the Proaction family, and together, let’s continue to make history by making a difference.
