Proaction Martial Arts & Fitness, a leading community-based martial arts club across the Midlands, proudly celebrates a landmark achievement by one of its youngest stars. Twelve-year-old Krish Rathod recently became the first Proaction Martial Arts European Champion at the prestigious AETF European Championships, representing ITF England.
This incredible milestone not only highlights Krish’s talent but also showcases Proaction’s dedication to nurturing martial arts excellence at every level.
A Journey of Dedication and Skill
Representing England on the international stage is a huge honour and the result of a rigorous, highly competitive selection process. Krish, alongside three other Proaction students, earned their places on the national team after proving exceptional skill, discipline, and commitment.
Last month, the Proaction team traveled to Bosnia to compete against top athletes from over 18 countries. The week was filled with intense competition and remarkable achievements, including:
- A narrow first-round loss for one competitor, followed by a team victory against Slovenia.
- Two competitors advancing to the quarter-finals, just one win away from medaling.
- Krish’s outstanding performance, winning every round with unanimous scores, to become the first-ever Proaction Martial Arts European Champion in the 1st Degree Patterns (12–14 years) category.
