Another major win for Team Proaction!
This past weekend, Proaction Martial Arts proved once again why it’s one of the UK’s leading martial arts clubs. The competition team returned from the ITF Union British Championships with a total of 33 medals.
With just 18 students competing, the results were extraordinary:
✅ Every single competitor earned a medal
🥇 13 Gold
🥈 8 Silver
🥉 12 Bronze
That’s 18 competitors. 33 medals. One united team.
A Performance Built on Focus, Skill and Integrity
What makes this result truly special isn’t just the medal count — it’s the way it was achieved.
At Proaction, success is about more than winning. Students are taught to lead with courtesy, discipline, and respect — and that was clear in every match they competed in.
Head Coach Tom Nicholson said:
“This result reflects everything we stand for. Yes, we’re proud of the medals — but we’re proud of the focus, the effort, and the attitude our students showed. That’s what builds champions.”
Highlights from the Championships
Among the team’s standout moments:
⭐ Finn achieved an incredible Triple Gold
🌟 5 competitors are part of the national team
🏆 13 of the 33 medals were British Championship Golds
The club also extended thanks to Coach Marcin, who coached the team throughout the long event.
It All Starts with the In-House Competition
Many of these competitors began their journey at Proaction’s In-House Competition. This is a supportive, entry-level event that helps students build experience and confidence before stepping into national arenas.
This recent championship win is proof that the club’s athlete development pathway works. This starts with structured training, progressing through club-level challenges, and ultimately reaching national success.
Building More Than Medals
At Proaction Martial Arts, students of all ages don’t just learn to kick and punch, they learn how to perform under pressure, stay disciplined, and grow in confidence.
This latest win is more than a trophy count. This is a sign of what’s possible when the right training environment meets determination and teamwork.
Whether you’re just starting out or dreaming of gold, the path begins with that very first class. Another major win for Team Proaction!
