At Proaction Martial Arts, we know that martial arts is more than just training — it’s about building a strong, supportive community. Our focus on martial arts community engagement ensures students feel connected and motivated, both in and out of the hall.
What is the Holiday Side Kick Challenge?
The Holiday Side Kick Challenge keeps students active during summer breaks. Students submit photos of themselves performing a side kick wherever they are. These are shared in our private community group, where families, instructors, and students celebrate every effort.
More Than a Challenge — A Sense of Belonging
This challenge isn’t about competition. It’s about connection, encouragement, and team spirit. Parents and students love how it keeps energy high and motivation alive outside regular classes.
Why Community Engagement Matters
Martial arts builds discipline, resilience, and confidence. But community engagement matters just as much. Students who feel part of a supportive martial arts community stay inspired to grow and achieve their goals.
At Proaction Martial Arts, we are open 50 weeks a year, offering consistent opportunities for connection and training. The Holiday Side Kick Challenge is one way we prioritise martial arts community engagement, helping students stay active and motivated during breaks.
