Confidence Development in Action: Mighty Monkey Day at Proaction Martial Arts

This past weekend, Proaction Martial Arts hosted one of its most exciting and uplifting events of the year — the Mighty Monkey Competition, created especially for the confidence development for our youngest martial arts students. And what a day it was!

From the moment the doors opened, the energy in the room was buzzing. Children aged 4-6 stepped onto the mats with courage, enthusiasm, and heart — many of them for the very first time.

Many Mighty Monkeys (4–6-year-olds) join us shy and nervous, gripping onto parents and carers as they shuffle into the training venues. But after their first session they bristle with excited energy as their confidence soars with a newfound love of Martial Arts.

Our instructors expertly hold the attention of the class. They make sure every child feels included and at ease. They gain the respect and focus of all Mighty Monkeys through being inclusive, approachable, and creating a fun environment their students actively want to be part of.

Our Mighty Monkeys form friendships that will grow with them as they progress through their martial arts journey. It is the best possible introduction to Martial Arts that any parent or carer could give their child. Our 7yr+, Taekwon Do students work on physical and mental strength. Family Martial Arts

Our family martial arts classes are the perfect activity for the whole family! We teach life-saving self-defence in a FUN community setting with amazing, supportive instructors that will help you achieve your fitness and personal goals. We highly recommend that all students train at least twice a week to rapidly improve fitness and mastery of Tae kwon-Do.
