At Proaction Martial Arts, we believe martial arts is more than fitness – it’s about confidence, resilience, and creating safer communities. Every year, we mark Anti-Bullying Week with free workshops that equip children and their families with vital skills to protect themselves and boost self-esteem.
This year, our Anti-Bullying Week 2025 sessions were bigger than ever. We welcomed members and their families – including parents and siblings who aren’t part of Proaction (yet!) – to take part in a hands-on, practical workshop led by our Founder and Director, Master Tom Nicholson.
“Seeing the confidence grow in every individual during the session was incredible,” says Master Tom Nicholson. “This is exactly why we run these workshops – teaching skills to protect yourself is one thing, but giving people the mindset and belief that they can stand up for themselves is life-changing.”
Our team also delivered free sessions at local schools, youth groups, and children’s organisations, reaching even more young people with essential lessons in self-protection, confidence, and resilience. Anti-Bullying Week is another way of giving back to the community while making a meaningful difference in children’s lives.
We are proud to announce we are now taking bookings for Mental Health Awareness Week 2026, offering sessions for schools and businesses. These workshops continue our mission to empower individuals, boost confidence, and promote wellbeing.
At Proaction Martial Arts, we’re committed to helping every child and adult feel confident, empowered, and safe — and our Anti-Bullying Week programs are a vital part of that mission.
